Gain computing skills to succeed in your studies or work. This certificate program is designed to provide a flexible environment for students who are blind or visually impaired. Students are prepared for employment in entry-level computing positions or for further study at college or university.
The program is designed so that students can study part-time or full-time. All computing stations are equipped with JAWS For Windows or ZoomText adaptive software.

As Vancouver Community College is a post-secondary institution committed to
educating adult learners, applicants should be 18 years of age or older or a graduate of a secondary school.
Please note that you must submit official transcripts and educational documents to support your application; unfortunately, we cannot accept photocopies or fax versions.
Program Specific
Legally blind or meet requirements of CNIB Sight Enhancement Enrollment.
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent, including successful completion of English 12 or equivalent.
Keyboarding speed of 25 wpm (words per minute).
Recommended characteristics
